Overview
This is the first step in your Multigenre Project. The proposal will serve as a roadmap for your project, helping you define your central theme or research question, identify the genres you plan to include, and clarify the audience for each genre. This step ensures your project is cohesive and aligned with your purpose.

Assignment Instructions

Write a Project Proposal (1–2 Pages, approximately 1500 words)
Your proposal should include the following elements:
Project Outline in MLA Format
List at least 3 of your credible sources
Central Theme or Research Question
Clearly state the central theme or research question your project will address.
Provide a brief explanation of why this theme or question is meaningful or relevant.

  4. Genres You Plan to Use

Identify the specific genres you intend to include in your project (e.g., personal narrative, infographic, blog post, editorial, poem).
Explain why each genre is appropriate for addressing your theme or question.

  5. Intended Audience

Define the audience for each genre.
Explain how you will tailor your writing and design choices to suit these audiences.

  6. Connection Between Genres

Provide your initial thoughts on how the genres will work together to create a cohesive project.

Proposal Formatting Guidelines

Typed, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.
Use 12-point Times New Roman font.
Submit your proposal as a Word or PDF document through the course platform.
